New tool for families

The Local - a non-profit online magazine covering health and social issues in Toronto has developed a dashboard that brings together inspection reports for all LTC homes in Ontario, data from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) and monetary penalties. This is a very useful resource for families evaluating long-term care homes. It provides inspection reports dating back to 2018; the provincial government now only provides inspection reports for the previous 3 years.
