Did you know there is a Person-Centred Language Award?

The Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care in partnership with Behavioural Supports Ontario have announced the 4th annual Person-Centred Language Award. The award was created to recognize "residents, family members, team members or leaders who engage in inclusive, verbal and non-verbal communication practices that focus on the individual and their unique preferences and needs".
